About us

There's a particular energy at Hope Presbyterian that keeps on giving. With its longstanding mission to reach the un-churched, it worries less about doctrine and more about spreading and sustaining the faith. Craig Strickland started Hope Pres some 22 years ago and has grown it into one of the largest congregations in the country. The appeal of Hope is that it works outside its walls, raising money for underserved communities and even helping other churches in other denominations with their missions. As Strickland puts it: "It's not about the Kingdom of Hope or the Kingdom of Craig, but the Kingdom of God."
