About us

Twenty-six years ago, a 40-acre farm site was transformed into what would become a popular community for senior adults. Kirby Pines Retirement Community now has 403 independent living apartments, 43 garden homes, 40 assisted-living apartments in the Fireside Villa, and 28 assisted-living apartments in Providence Place. In 1996, the Job's Way Alzheimer's Residence was dedicated, further expanding the offerings for seniors. Kirby Pines has amenities including a performing arts center, the Eva Christie Trammell Memorial Chapel, a movie theater, library and financial center. There are card rooms, a gift shop and five dining areas that make it easy to see why the facility is a Memphis Most.
